An upcoming event is a sure sign of summer in Fairfield.
The Vintage & Made Market is coming to celebrate Summer at the Round Barn. The market is held both in the barn and outdoors, and will bring more than 125 outstanding vendors from throughout the Midwest to the Round Barn and the county fairgrounds.
The market is aimed at shoppers who enjoy meeting the people who make unique products with their own hands, and who also prefer to shop local. Among the items that will be available are artisan jewelry, hand-poured candles, fashion accessories, boutique clothing, and modern farmhouse products, along with salvages, repurposed, rusty, or chipped items. Food trucks will be on hand, and there will be live acoustic music as well.
The event runs for two days, to give everyone a chance to enjoy a leisurely shopping trip. The market takes place June 27, from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm, with VIP Early Bird admission available at 9:00 am. On June 28, the hours are from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm. General admission is $5, with VIP tickets priced at $10. The VIP ticket holders gain early admission on the first day, and free admission if they return on the second.
Flyer printing is a good method to use to create handouts for attendees at this type of event, since they can list the vendors and where they are located.
