Fairfield Parks and Recreation recently issued Invitations to one and all to be part of an evening filled with Halloween fun.
The community has set the date for Halloween on the Green, and kids are encouraged to come in costume and bring along a bag or pillowcase to carry all the swag and other treats they collect. It will also showcase the city’s business side, providing an opportunity for these companies to introduce themselves.
Attendees will be able to visit the tables and displays set up by the assortment of companies and groups, and they will be handing out candy, Promotional Products, and other treats. Each of the entries will be decorated so they add to the fun of the event, and there will be selfie stations on hand as well.
Along with the trick or treating, the function will offer live entertainment and snacks from food trucks. Admission is free and it is intended for kids aged 10 and under.
Local companies and organizations that would like to get involved in the activity are welcome to submit an online application. The deadline to do so is October 18.
Fairfield will be rolling out the orange and black carpet for its Halloween on the Green at 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 24. It will be open to the public from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
