The River Run supports Kicks for Kids (KFK), an organization that works to provide at-risk children in the area with a chance to pursue their dreams. Whether the children are physically or mentally challenged, or live in challenging circumstances, KFK works to help them through interactive programs, by meeting special requests, and by working with other children's organizations in the area.
