Fairfield plans well ahead for Fourth of July

In light of the current global environment, Fairfield is planning way ahead for special events, including Independence Day.

The city will celebrate the holiday with a fireworks display to be held on Fairfield's Village Green. The fireworks will be handled by a professional company Rozzi Famous Fireworks. Rozzi Famous Fireworks is now a fifth-generation company, and is one of the first pyrotechnical companies ever to combine fireworks with music – a practice that is now common.

Fairfield officials recommend that people arrive early so they can find a spot where they can see the show clearly. Before the show, attendees have a chance to stroll through the park, have a meal at Berds Grill and Bar, which is nearby, or enjoy one of Flubs's ice cream cones. Banner printing can be used to create special decorations for events like this.

In addition to the fireworks show, there will be vendors and crafters onsite. Among the vendors are balloon artists, facepainting experts, Scentsy, and the Chummy Pets Workshop. Scentsy sells warmers that melt scented wax heated by a light bulb, eliminating the need for people to burn scented candles. Chummy Pets sells hypoallergenic, unstuffed, toy animals. The critters are available in an 8-inch or a 16-inch size, with hidden pouches were people can tuck in a fragrance bag or device that makes them speak.

At present, Fairfield plans the fireworks for July 3, starting at 10:00 pm.
