Fairfield Farmers Market returns in February

The city of Fairfield will welcome back the Fairfield Farmers Market for two dates this February. Locals and visitors alike will be able to purchase and sample a variety of local products.

Unlike many other markets of this type, certain requirements are placed on the merchants who sell in this space. The materials that make the products sold must be grown or produced within the county. If not that, they must be sourced from within 100 miles of Fairfield. This means that the profits generated in this market will directly benefit the local economy.

Patrons to the market can expect a wide variety of goods, including fresh, farmer-grown vegetables, fruits, and flowers. They can also get a wide variety of handmade soaps, teas, jellies, and baked bread.

Market vendors can also benefit from selling their goods directly to consumers. They can make more profits by needing to spend less on transport and refrigeration. By meeting with customers personally, they can make a better marketable image for themselves, helped by printing some Business Cards, and applying for a booth at the market.

The event itself will be held at 411 Wessel Dr., Fairfield, Ohio 45014. This is also known as the Fairfield Community Arts Center. The February dates are the 2nd and the 16th from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
