At least four music events are scheduled in Fairfield for the holiday season.
At the end of November, the FTC Warehouse will be presenting a Disney Frozen sing-a-long. Pictures of the family enjoying the songs of the hit animation can be taken to local Stationery printers and added to 2019 family Calendars.
An SHU Chamber Orchestra Concert will be the inaugural performance for the Sacred Heart University’s Chamber Orchestra. The performance will be part of the university’s instrumental program’s anniversary series.
A Christmas Choral Extravaganza called Christmas Gold will be performed on the same evening. Here SHU choirs combine to perform top Christmas classic songs and stories.
On the next evening, the Sacred Heart University Band will hold its annual Christmas concert. It too will be playing timeless Christmas classics, but this will include a seasonal sing-a-long.
The FTC Warehouse Frozen Sing-a-Long is slated for Saturday, November 24 at 2:00 pm at 70 Sanford Street.
The Chamber Orchestra Concert will be Saturday, December 8 at 7:00 pm at the Sacred Heart University’s Commons at 5151 Park Avenue.
The SHU choir will perform at 7:30 pm. The Sacred Heart University Band Christmas Memories concert will be on Sunday, December 9, beginning at 3:00 pm. These concerts will be in the Edgerton Center on the Sacred Heart University campus.
