Even with fall on the horizon, there's still time to enjoy some summer-style fun at an upcoming Fairfield area attraction.
Stricker’s Cove recently announced that it has scheduled its last open to the public activity for this year, and everyone’s invited. The rides will be open for seven hours, with a break in the middle for dinner.
Once they have paid the entry fee, everyone who comes out will be able to go for a spin on the rides, including the roller coasters; the mini golf course will also be open. Free snow cones, cotton candy and soft drinks will be handed out to attendees, and the food and beverage concessions will be open as well. Anyone who would prefer to bring their own snacks or meal is welcome to do so. An admission fee of $18.00 per person will be charged, although kids aged two and under can enter free of charge. A fee will also be charged for parking at the event.
