Celebrate Local store plans grand opening

The new Celebrate Local store in Liberty Center held its soft opening in October, and now plans to go all-out with an opening celebration featuring samples, raffles, and vendor demonstrations. According to a November 4, 2015 news item, this is Celebrate Local's second location; its first is at Easton Town Center.

The store sells services and products made by small businesses, and concentrates on Ohio-made products including Apparel art, food, beer, wine, and more. However, it accepted applications from vendors throughout the Tristate area (Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky) for its new location.

Officials at the opening will include those representing Ohio Proud, a division of the state's agriculture department, as well as representatives of the Butler County Visitors Bureau, who will be on hand to participate in giveaways. Vendors plan to demonstrate their products and provide samples for visitors to enjoy. Among those sharing their goodies are A Bit of a Bite Salsa, Bissell Maple Farm, Twisted River Coffee, 2 Cups Coffee and Bakery, Tina's Sweet Treats, Raphael's Pizzelles, Perfect Pecans, and Norka Soda.

In addition to food, Tiffany Kelly, a Cincinnati artist, will create chalk art on the sidewalk in front of the store, local author will sign their Books, and local artisans will work on their crafts.

To keep the fun going, store managers could work with a printer to create specialized items like promotional Pens, to distribute to customers during the first few weeks of operation.
