A marathon and half-marathon are scheduled to take place in Dublin soon.
The “Warm Up Columbus” is an annual winter event that is a precursor to the Boston Marathon as well as the OhioHealth Capital City Half & Quarter Marathon. Running the “Warm Up” race will move runners toward those goals.
There are six races on the schedule: a Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K, 10K, plus a Marathon Relay and a Half Marathon relay. The course is a one-mile loop that offers spectators plenty of room to enjoy the race. There are 26 support/fluid stations on the course, and a restroom every mile.
Organizers have listed reasons why runners should take the opportunity to participate in these races. First, the course is fast and flat, making for a comfortable experience. Second, it is a USATF Certified Course which means it is a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. Results are fast and accurate, and there is plenty of support stations with Gatorade on the course, and there is music as well.
The Half Marathon relay, Half Marathon, and 5K begin at 8.00 am, and the Marathon Relay, Marathon, and 10K begin at 8.03 am. Race headquarters for 2022 are outside the Metro Fitness & Colliers International, located on Metro Place in South Dublin. Event organizers can use banner printing to create course markers for races like this.
The races are scheduled for February 6, and the first 600 participants to register will receive technical shirts. Everyone will receive a Finisher’s Medal.
