Hospital in Dublin receives significant gift

The OhioHealth Foundation has received a donation of $1 million from a member of the Development Board of OhioHealth Dublin Methodist Hospital, David Probst and Cindy, his wife.

The expansion project of Dublin Methodism will be supported by this gift. The capacity of the hospital will be greatly enhanced, as it will add over 187,000 square feet which will enable the hospital to double the current number of patients it can accommodate.

News of such significant donations and their ramifications can be made known throughout a community with flyer printing.

The Probst family said:

“We have called Dublin home for 40 years and have watched this community grow. It is our belief that having access to good healthcare is important to everyone. The reason we were drawn to OhioHealth is its large network of hospitals located throughout the state of Ohio, providing healthcare to a significant number of Ohioans.”

The senior vice president of OhioHealth and president of OhioHealth Foundation, Karen Morrison, added:

“David and Cindy Probst have been dedicated philanthropic supporters of Dublin Methodist for more than a decade through generous participation in the OhioHealth Foundation Invitational, the creation of the Probst Family Nursing Scholarship and the Probst Family Endowment for Melanoma Care for the Dublin Cancer Center. The couple has seen firsthand the impact that Dublin Methodist has had in meeting the healthcare needs of Dublin’s growing and diverse community.”

Morrison added that they were inspired to make this donation so that Dublin Methodism can continue to provide high-quality healthcare for those in the community.
