Golfing to raise funds in Dublin

Golfers will be able to enjoy a round of their favorite sport and support a good cause at the same time.

Music Loves Ohio is organizing its inaugural MLO golf tournament to raise funds for its programs. The game will consist of a full 18 holes of golf, though it will be played using golf carts, and prizes will be awarded to winners in various categories. Banner printing can be used to provide decorations for outdoor events like this.

Music Loves Ohio is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that enables young people in Central Ohio to pursue their love of music. The group provides financial assistance for music education in classrooms in private and public schools, and during after-school programs, as well as giving instruments to underserved young students.

Music Loves Ohio was the brainchild of a group who felt it was not fair for a lack of finances to stop youngsters who love music from pursuing a career in the field. Since its inception, Music Loves Ohio has bought instruments, hosted workshops in songwriting and instrument building, paid music camp fees for students, and underwritten the cost of students who performed at Carnegie Hall. Music Love Ohio has also given multiple grants to Berklee College of Music for its performance camps.

MLO has no outside benefactor and raises money exclusive through events like the upcoming golf tournament, which is set for May 30, from 2.00 pm to 8.00 pm, at the Golf Club of Dublin on Eiterman Road.
