An upcoming workshop in Dublin will help make people more productive.
Anna Bitters will lead a Focus Session so attendees will learn how to avoid distractions. The session will be an immersive experience for those who attend, where Bitters will teach people how to concentrate so they can get more done in a shorter time.
Each session will comprise three “sprints” with breaks interspersed among them. During each sprint, the person will work on whatever project they have brought to the workshop. Learning how to work in productive sprints with relaxing rests will help people break a pattern of non-productivity.
Attendees may bring whatever project they want to work on. Bitters suggests they bring a pen and notebook, or if they prefer to work on a computer, to be sure to bring a charging cable. The participants may use the time as they like. In the past, some have used each sprint to complete a project they have been neglecting, while others have worked on one project, using the first sprint to brainstorm, the second to create a rough draft, and the third to finalize the work. It is recommended that people plan on staying for the entire three-hour session.
The workshop is free and is scheduled for January 13, from 9:30 am until 12:30 pm, in Meeting Room 3 of the Dublin Branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library on North High Street. Events like this can benefit if organizers use brochure printing to create brief course descriptions.
