Though we are still in the middle of summer, Dublin is already planning something special for the fall.
The City of Dublin is presenting its Halloween Spooktacular in Coffman Park, as well as at the Dublin Community Recreation Center (DCRC), and everyone is invited. Among the attractions will be dance performances, games, a hay maze, crafts, and the special Trunk or Treat Trail. The Trail in the past has drawn over 6,000 Dublin residents.
The Trunk or Treat Trail gives local organizations a chance to showcase their products and services, though they will be distributing candy, not promotional items. Each group will be given an area measuring 15' x 15', from which they will handing out candy from their truck or car. Participants are asked to decorate their vehicles and wear costumes. Banner printing can provide seasonal decorations for events like this.
The Spooktacular is scheduled for October 22, from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The Trail is free, but tickets are necessary, and can be picked up beginning at 8:00 am on October 17, at the DCRC. People requesting tickets will need to provide proof of Dublin residency, and tickets are limited to five per household. Tickets will be distributed until 2:30 pm on October 22, or until all have been given away. Tickets are marked for specific 15-minute timeslots, and people visiting the Trail should do so only at that time. A sensory-friendly experience will be provided from 3:00 pm until 3:30 pm.
