Dublin offered opportunity to take advantage of community shred

  • 2022-09-07
Disposing of paperwork properly is an important step in personal security, and a community shred will help in Dublin to do so, free of charge.

United Credit Union has teamed up with Corodata to offer the community an opportunity to have any sensitive documents securely shredded. This service will be performed using a mobile shredder while the attendees watch, and everyone who brings materials is asked to stay on site until theirs have been run through.

This rain or shine activity will accept personal paperwork only, and residents are asked to not bring Flyers, junk mail or magazines to the venue, as these can be disposed of using the municipal system. To add some extra fun to the activity, an assortment of special offers will be available to the Credit Union, and refreshments will be served to the crowd. A draw for a $100 gift card is also in the works.

Offering the public a special service is one way a company can serve its community. A flyer printing company can supply variety of ways to market an event, and it can also be counted on to supply small Promotional Products to hand out to the crowd.

This free community shred is scheduled for October 14. The mobile shredding truck will be parked on site at 5901 Gibraltar Drive in Pleasanton.
