Phase one of Dublin’s Bridge Park is going ahead, with members of the Dublin planning and zoning commission getting set to consider designs for the final part of the project—an office building.
Crawford Hoying, the developer on the project, will present the plans soon.
The building comprises a total of 78,134 square feet, and will sit on the northeast corner of the intersection of Riverside Drive and W. Dublin-Granville Road. The ground level, which spans 19,256 square feet, can house either a restaurant or offices.
Bridge Park is a mixed-use development that includes condos, apartments, a hotel, entertainment and dining venues, and an event space. Cameron Mitchell will cater the events.
The area is located on Riverside Drive’s east side, on an approximate 25-acre parcel. The goal of the project is to create a walkable community where residents, who have their choice of renting an apartment or buying a townhouse or condo, can enjoy retail shops and restaurants right in their neighborhood. Some will be able to find work in the offices also located in the development. Crawford Hoying is working to make certain the new development complements the Historic Dublin section of the city.
According to a developer’s spokesman, ground could be broken this spring.
Projects like this can often be enhanced if developers work with a brochure printing company to help show amenities to prospective residents.
