Automobile enthusiasts have an event coming up that should make summer even more fun, as they help to raise money for the Arthritis Foundation.
The 38th Annual Classic Auto Show is on the way to Dublin, bringing not only automobiles, but lots of activities for the entire family. More than 350 awards will be given, and there will be live music, plus a tent to provide a showcase for special vehicles, as well as a Kids’ Zone.
There will be a section for featured models, which this year is dedicated to cars that first appeared in 1970. These are the IH Scout, Citroen SM, Dodge Challenger, Datsun 240Z, Chevy Vega, Chevy Monte Carlo, Ford Maverick, Ford Pinto, AMC Hornet, and the AMC Gremlin. A regional meet is also planned for the Mercury Cougar.
The event schedule starts on August 20 with registration and check-in, followed by the Rolling Legends Tour. August 21 brings the Cruise-In, with the show open from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm. Live music includes Chaz & Nicki, and The British Invasion.
August 22 is the Classic Auto Show itself, from 9:00 am until 7:00 pm. Live music on this date is courtesy of The Driving Guitars, and The Avalons. The event ends with the awards ceremony at 6:00 pm. The venue is the Metro Center Business Park in Dublin, and the inclusive dates are August 20-22, which is a rescheduling from the earlier date in June. Brochure printing can provide colorful pamphlets for events like this.
