Food Truck Festival to return for milestone year

Columbus will hold its annual Food Truck Festival after a year’s hiatus due to COVID-19. The festival will take place in August, and it is the event’s 10th anniversary.

For this year’s festival, the venue will move to the Franklin Country Fairgrounds. In previous years, the festival would be held at Scioto Mile, but the location has changed due to permit issues.

Organizers will also implement safety protocols for this year’s event. One new change is a ticketing system that will allow organizers to monitor the number of guests at the festival at any given time.

Besides food trucks, the event will also feature other sellers and entertainment. Local vendors will sell a variety of items like jewelry, art, and clothing. Bands are also set to perform live music featuring a wide range of genres. For attendees with children, organizers have set apart a separate area for kids to play. These events usually utilize banner printing to help guide guests around the venue.

The festival will take place on August 21 and 22. It will run between 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM the first day, and 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM on the second. The fairgrounds can be found at 4100 Columbia Street in Hillard. Tickets are $5 for general admission, and children under 12 can join for free if accompanied by an adult.
