Unique Halloween week events in Cincinnati

Trick-or-treat may be fine for some, but one Cincinnati organization has a different idea for how to spend the spooky day.

Pubcrawls.com is the organizer of—what else—pub crawls, and have scheduled three crawls. The Happy Hour Halloweekend Pub Crawl gets the week off to a fun start. Then the Halloweekend Hangover Pub Crawl gives people a chance to do the whole thing over again. Finally, the Official Cincinnati Halloween Bar Crawl celebrates the day itself.

These are the largest bar crawls in Cincinnati, and all three operate the same way. Participants purchase tickets online, and then on the day of the event, go to the starting point for the crawl. There they will receive a wrist band that identifies them as a “crawler,” and a digital map of all the participating venues. The map indicates the addresses as well as the times at which the participating establishments will be offering special pricing.

After that, people are welcome to go their own way, at whatever pace they choose, to visit the venues they prefer. In addition, everyone is strongly encouraged to come in costume, because videos and photos will be taken throughout the evening, and the best costumes will win prizes.

The crawls are for those 21 and over only. The Happy Hour crawl is October 22, the Hangover Crawl is October 29, and the Halloween Bar Crawl is October 31. Fun events like this are also great times for people to exchange Business Cards.
