One of the most popular stars of the 1960s is on the way to Cincinnati, bringing tunes from one of music’s greatest decades.
Some of the most popular bands of the 60s include The Who, The Rolling Stones, the best-selling band of all time, The Beatles, and a group whose upbeat songs made them wildly successful, Herman’s Hermits. Now, audiences will get to enjoy hits like “I’m Into Something Good,” “Can’t You Hear My Heartbeat,” “Mrs. Brown, you’ve Got a Lovely Daughter” and more when Herman’s Hermits Starring Peter Noone appears at the Ludlow Garage. They are bringing An Olde English Christmas show and will be playing classic holiday tunes.
Herman’s Hermits formed in Manchester, England, in 1963. They became known for their often tongue-in-cheek lyrics and jaunty style. Noone was their frontman from their founding until he went solo in 1971. During their career, the group sold more than 60 million records, releasing eight studio albums, all of which charted, and two of which were certified Gold. They also have seven EPs, ten compilation albums, and 29 singles to their credit.
Herman’s Hermits Starring Peter Noone will be presenting two shows of An Olde English Christmas on December 20, one at 3.30 pm and the second at 7.30 pm. When they plan concerts like this, organizations may want to work with poster printing to create colorful advertisements for the event.
