Say Yes to this concert

One of the biggest bands of the 1970s arena-rock era is coming to Cincinnati.

Yes is on their “Close to the Edge 50th Anniversary Tour,” celebrating decades of rocking audiences around the globe. They are a progressive rock band that formed in 1968 in London, with Jon Anderson as the frontman, backed up by Bill Bruford on drums, Tony Kaye on keyboards, guitarist Peter Banks, and Chris Squire on bass. Since its founding, Yes has undergone numerous line-up changes, with 19 musicians as full-time band members.

They are one of progressive rock’s most influential and successful bands, having sold over 30 million albums globally. In the United States, RIAA has certified 13.5 million of their albums, and they won a Grammy in 1985 for “Best Rock Instrumental Performance” for “Cinema.” From 1985 to 1992, they garnered five more Grammy nominations. They released their latest studio album, “The Quest,” in 2021. A review says:

“YES Is the type of band that always puts on an unforgettable show and takes the audience on a journey through decades of great music.”

Tickets are now on sale but are limited to purchases of eight. Accessible seating is available to attendees with mobility or vision impairments, or wheelchair users, but the seating is limited to the disabled and their companions. Audiences for events like these enjoy learning about the performers, so concert organizers could use brochure printing to create informative programs.

Yes will appear at Cincinnati’s Taft Theatre on November 6 at 7.30 pm.
