After a pop-up event, the new Treehouse Patio Bar officially opened Thursday, May 25, in Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine neighborhood.
According to an article on the Cincy Weekend website, the bar's intriguing concept could prove to be a game-changer.
Casey Elder and Zac Costa are the brains behind the new operations; the business partners are well-known in the bar industry in Cincinnati. For this venture, they have tapped into memories of childhood, putting up rope swings, instead of bar stools, for patrons to sit in as they enjoy their drinks.
At the moment, the bar is open from 4:00 pm until 2:00 am seven days per week, when the weather cooperates. The owners are currently trying to figure out ways to close the area in, so that people can enjoy the bar year-round. Not only that, but Costa revealed that they are thinking of taking over the next-door space, which was formerly OTR Live, and creating the ‘Copper Night Club’ there. There were no more details on what sort of club they hope to open.
Treehouse Patio Bar is on Sycamore Street, across from Joe's Diner. Businesses like this can reap the rewards if owners work with a flyer printing company, which can create a handout for distribution near the store at and soon after the opening. If they include a coupon or special offer, new patrons might stop in.
