Musical brothers to play Cincinnati.

An up-and-coming pair of gifted brothers is planning to play in Cincinnati soon.

The Ries Brothers are making their mark by combining reggae, funk, jam, blues, and rock into their own style.

The band comprises Charlie and Kevin Jordan, who are now in their twenties. They began playing in the bar circuit in Florida when they were teenagers. Charlie is the frontman, keyboard bassist and drummer, while Jordan handles the theremin, melodica, ukulele, guitar, and does background vocals as well. The theremin, an instrument that produces sound without the player touching it, has provided “spooky” additions to the soundtracks for several science fiction films.

It was during their years in Florida that the brothers were discovered by the legendary band Chicago, who took them on two tours. This experience spurred them to leave school to concentrate on their careers in music.

Once they got started, the brothers found themselves in demand at major festivals and on tour, such as when they supported G Love & Special Sauce on tour in 2018. They were such a success that G Love asked them to tour with him again, as his opening act.

A review says:

“Amazing show from start to finish! Two of the most talented artists I've ever seen live!”

The Ries Brothers will be in Cincinnati on June 1, at Fretboard Brewing. Organizers of events like this can support them by using poster printing to create advertising.
