Major festival coming to Cincinnati

A hugely popular annual event is returning to Cincinnati this summer.

Procter & Gamble (P&G) is presenting the Cincinnati Music Festival, an event Newsweek Magazine once named one of summer's best music events. P&G has had its world headquarters in Cincinnati since 1837, and is proud of its association with the city.

Thousands of music lovers come to the city to enjoy three full days of performances by the greatest stars in soul music, jazz, R&B, and hip hop. Over 80,000 people come from throughout the country to enjoy music, shopping, dancing, dining, and entertainment. Among the stars who have performed in the past are Mary J. Blige, Chaka Khan, Fantasia, Frankie Beverly, and Charlie Wilson.

This year, the headliners of the festival are Janet Jackson and Snoop Dogg. Returning this year are Fantasia, and Charlie Wilson. Other stars scheduled to perform are Kirk Whalum, PJ Morton, Tank, The O'Jays, Jonathan Butler, and Tony Toni Tone.

The festival is scheduled for July 23, 24, and 25, starting at 7:30 pm each day. The venue is the Paul Brown Stadium, which is the home field of the Cincinnati Bengals. There are parking lots nearby, and some street parking is available. Flyer printing can be used to create handouts for people attending this type of event, as they are economical and can be created to reflect each day's appearances.
