A band that has been a force in pop for decades will appear in Cincinnati.
Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons are coming to Cincinnati to rock the place. The band seemed to produce hit after hit in the 1960s, charting with classic singles like “Rag Doll,” “Walk Like a Man,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” and the legendary “December, 1963 (Oh What a Night).”
The group was successful from the start, releasing their debut album “Sherry & 11 Others” in 1962, and watching as it made it to the No. 6 spot on the charts. “Rag Doll,” the album they dropped in 1964, climbed to No. 7. However, it was their string of singles that kept topping the charts and made them one of the world’s most popular acts. In their career, they have sold a worldwide total of over 100 million albums.
Like most long-running musical groups, the line-up has changed over the years, but Frankie Valli is still the frontman. The group’s popularity even inspired the Broadway musical “Jersey Boys.” A review says:
“Fabulous show!!!! Loved every minute of it. He is still amazing. All our favorite songs. Total joyful fun.”
Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons will be at the PNC Pavilion on September 11, with doors opening at 8:00 pm. Events like this need to be publicized, and organizers can use poster printing to create attractive advertising for the occasion.
