Like many other cities, Cincinnati is encouraging the display of public art, which residents and visitors alike can now enjoy with the help of a visual aid.
Artworks can be found throughout Cincinnati's downtown, but they are not always easy to find, and visitors with limited time may miss some of the things they want to see. However, Downtown Cincinnati, Inc. (DCI) has created a map of the city's public art installations and made it available on-line.
DCI is a non-profit organization that strives to make Cincinnati's downtown a pleasant and dynamic place to live and work. It seeks to maintain and enhance a clean, welcoming, and safe downtown environment, using its Downtown Ambassadors in the effort. DCI also uses strategic marketing and media presentations to enhance the downtown's image as a vibrant place to be, and encourages both residents and businesses to locate downtown.
Now, as part of these continuing efforts to bring people to the heart of the city, DCI has created a map that enables people to find murals, sculptures, and other artworks downtown and in Cincinnati Parks located nearby.
City officials and DCI will want to get word out about the map, so they could consider working with brochure printers to create Booklets to place at the sites of the artworks, listing other locations and giving the map's web address.Get a Free Quote for Booklets
