Workshop planned for Rockville Centre future moms

Rockville Centre mothers-to-be will be able to hit the ground running by taking part in an upcoming workshop on offer at Mercy Hospital.

The healthcare facility has organized a community baby shower. The future moms who take part will walk away with a better understanding of both what to expect as well as the supports that are available to them in their home area, and it is free to take a seat in the session.

The attendees will be walked through the labor and delivery process, and experts on putting babies to sleep safely will be on hand to share tips and advice for caring for the new member of their family. Doctors and nurses will also be in attendance so the group can ask questions, share concerns, and receive support in an environment that is welcoming and safe. RSVPs are required, and as space is limited, it is restricted to future mothers.

The release for the function noted that everyone who takes part will go home with a variety of Promotional Products and other items that may be helpful to them in caring for their newborn.

Mercy Hospital will be offering this workshop for moms-to-be on May 14. The venue for the afternoon is located at 1000 North Village Avenue. The function will run for two hours, starting at 1:00 pm.
