Street fair to hit the Wantagh area

Nassau County Craft Shows will soon be hosting a festival in Wantagh, New York called Street Fair On The Green.

Shoppers will have the chance to travel to a single destination with a variety of handmade craft vendors all in the same place. There will be longstanding veteran craftsmen and vendors ready to sell unique wares, as well as up-and-coming talents who are just now making their way onto the crafts fair scene.

Nassau County Craft Shows was created by Alan Finchley, who is a long time member of the crafts fair community. He has been involved in the scene since 1976 and has even taught classes on the subject at the State University of New York. On the event’s website, organizers claim that they would rather have empty stall spaces than hire subpar vendors for their events.

Promoters for this event may reach out to printing companies to create Flyers, Posters, or post cards that can be used to advertise for the fair. Making sure that residents of nearby areas like Rockville Centre know about the fair is only likely to increase the attendance.

Street Fair On The Green will take place on Saturday, August 23 and Sunday, August 24 from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm on both days. The event is free to attend for all.
