Special celebration planned for Rockville Centre families

Two of the characters from The Little Mermaid will serve as hosts for a special occasion intended to appeal to the young and the young at heart.

For fans of the Hans Christian Andersen story, which became a Disney movie in 1989, the mermaid and her handsome prince will be welcoming youngsters for a late morning celebration in Rockville Centre, and it will include lots of hands-on fun. Parents are advised to bring their cameras as there will be plenty of photo ops, and tickets start at $40 for a parent child pair. Sibling tickets are also available at a discounted price.

The boys and girls at the royal party will make their very own “Under the Sea” globe which they can take home with them, and there will also be music, a singalong, story time, and snacks served.
