Rockville Centre venue to give dinos their day

A Rockville Centre institution that believes learning should be fun has organized a special event for the holiday season, and some giant ancient reptiles will be the stars of the show during some of the final days of 2023.

The Center for Science Teaching and Learning (CSTL) is dedicated to increasing literacy in the STEM subjects, and it provides a variety of creative learning programs. One of these, dubbed its “Dinosaur Carnival” will be running in late December and is included with the general admission price.

This will be the Carnival’s second year, returning after a successful and popular new year. There will be face painting and other special fun for the kids, and prize draws are in the works. The attendees may even find themselves face to face with a friendly roaming dinosaur, and the Center’s regular offerings will be available as well.

Community centers, museums, and other public institutions often choose to host themed activities for the public. Print shops can offer an assortment of services, including banner printing, that may help to add the final touch to an event.

The Center for Science Teaching and Learning in Rockville Centre will be giving dinos their day from December 23 to 31. Each day will run from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm, and its Patch listing provides further information.
