Rockville Centre to mark local organizations anniversary

The Rockville Centre Breast Cancer Coalition will soon be celebrating five years of fighting for the cause, and it has planned a special gala event.

The Garden City Hotel will be welcoming guests for the 5th Anniversary Gala, which will honor Kathy Baxley and Laura Altman who are co-vice presidents of Outreach for the Coalition. It was explained that they have worked hard to lead a team of nearly 50 counselors, all of whom are breast cancer survivors.

Tickets for the gala are on sale now, and they can be purchased individually, or for tables of 10 or 12. Local businesses that would like to show their support will have several options to choose from, and these include reserving ad space in the Gala Journal that will be distributed to the guests. The function will run for four hours, and there will be food, music, dancing, and lots of other fun

Organizations often host special events to both raise funds and honor staff and volunteers who have gone above and beyond in their efforts. Corporate Gifts can be prepared to present to these individuals, and they may be crafted so that they incorporate the group’s Logo Design.

The Rockville Centre Breast Cancer Coalition has rescheduled this special occasion to March 11, and it will run from 7:00 pm until 11:00 pm. Tickets start at $225.
