Rockville Centre preparing for day of outdoor music

An event that will have the entire community tapping its toes is on the way for Rockville Centre, and all ages can enjoy a day of mini outdoor concerts.

Front lawns, driveways, and porches throughout the area will transformed into outdoor stages, giving everyone an opportunity to have their moment in the sun. It will be a family-friendly event, and everyone can get involved by taking part in the musical tour or picking up an instrument and adding their voice to the occasion.

There is no cost to take part, and a listing of the various properties that will be included will be released at a later date. As the more performers who take part, the more fun the celebration will be, the organizers are hoping there will be plenty of involvement from the community. It will be the second year that the function has been hosted by the Rockville Centre Chamber of Commerce.
