August will see a Rockville Centre course welcome players for a day of birdies and bogies that will benefit an area not-for-profit group.
The 4th annual Golf Outing Benefiting Anchor Program Fund is right around the corner, and it will be a morning and afternoon of fun in the sun. The fundraiser will be capped off with lunch so the players can mingle, and prizes will be presented as well.
The day will open with breakfast, and the green and practice range will be open for anyone who can use some time to brush up. The play will kick off with shotgun start, and a BBQ lunch will be served. At the end of the game, the registrants can gather in the clubhouse for some post-game drinks and light bites, and the winner of the raffle draw will be announced.
The planners have thanked the function area’s business community for their generosity in making this event happen. Many have donated Corporate Gifts, experiences, or other items to be used as prizes on the day.
The 2023 annual golf outing will be teeing off at the Rockville Links Club on Monday, August 21. The day will run from 9:00 am until 3:30 pm, and its registration system is currently open. Those interested can sign up on the Eventbrite listing.
