Rockville Centre fundraiser to help tackle cancer

Rockville Centre is known for being a community that really cares about others, and this public spirit will be on full display during an upcoming fundraiser.

St. Agnes Parish Center will be the location for an afternoon of fun, and there will be activities for almost every age and interest. The money raised from the fundraiser will be donated to the RVC St. Baldrick’s Foundation, which provides financial support for cancer research.

The activity, which is open to all ages, will feature music from live performers; there will also be special fun just for the kids. Everyone can cheer on those who choose to have their hair cut or shaved for the cause. Food and beverages can be purchased on site by anyone who would like to have a bite to eat or drink. Furthermore, a raffle draw and bake sale are also on the agenda.

The planners of the event explained that they are counting on the generosity of the local business community, and they will be happy to accept donations of Corporate Gifts. These will be used for raffle and draw prizes, helping to raise as much funding as possible.

St. Agnes Parish Center in Rockville Centre has made plans to welcome the public for this special occasion on Saturday, March 25. It will open its doors at 1pm and close at 5pm.
