While many Halloween celebrations may look a bit different than in previous years, kids in Rockville Centre will still be able to enjoy some trick or treating fun, thanks to the local Recreation Center staff.
The RVC Recreation Center parking lot will be transformed into a spooky venue for a drive through trunk or treat, and candy and other goodies will be handed out by staff wearing masks and gloves. The organizers have requested that families register ahead of time for this activity, and there will be a fee of $10 for each vehicle.
When families arrive for the festivities, they will be able to drive through the decorated trunk maze, which will be filled with spine-tingling surprises all ages can enjoy. Kids are encouraged to wear a costume, and they will receive a special candy prize to take home. The participants will be asked to remain in their car throughout the activity.
