Rockville Centre runners are welcome to lace up their favorite sneakers and hit the road for an area event that will bring friends and neighbors together in a spirit of festive fun.
The community of Seaford has issued an invitation to one and all to be part of the annual Seaford Wellness Hot Chocolate 5K Run/Walk. The proceeds from the day will be used to fund a variety of local, grassroots level projects.
Those who would like to get involved in the fundraiser can choose to walk or run, and once they have completed the course, everyone will be treated to bagels and some piping hot chocolate. Awards featuring the function’s Logo Design will be given to the top finishers, and other awards will also be presented. Both the start and finish lines for the day will be at Seaford High School, and race packets will be available for pick up in advance.
A fun run and walk offers a way to bring members of a community together while raising funds. A banner printing company will be able to provide materials for a variety of types of events and many of these can be customized for a specific occasion.
The event will be hitting the road on December 3. The sign-up process for the function can be completed via RunSignUp.com.
