Those who are approaching age 65 and who have questions about the process of applying for Medicare may wish to reserve their seat for an information session that has been planned for Rockville Center.
The Medicare Insurance Class will be offered free of charge to the community, and the organizers noted that the goal is to give the attendees the knowledge they need to successfully advocate for themselves while navigating the process of applying for Medicare.
There will be a discussion of how the program works, the different dates and deadlines that need to be met, and also what choices there are for those who wish to be covered under this initiative while continuing to work.
Along with the above information, those who participate will learn about any changes and updates that have been made to the Medicare program, the various dental and eyecare options that are available, and also how they can lower the cost of their prescription medications. Those who cannot take part in the workshop in person can contact the organizer to arrange a private information session. A Print company will be able to provide any handouts and other materials for a learning event such as this.
The date for this workshop will be October 2, and it will be held in Southside High School. Anyone who wishes to find out more can do so by visiting the organizer’s website.
