Rockville Centre’s Center for Science Teaching and Learning (CSTL) has plans to welcome one and all for some spine-tingling fun that can be enjoyed by almost any age.
The CSTL will be setting up a huge outdoor celebration in honor of the season, held at the Tanglewood Preserve. Dubbed “Spokyfest”, it will be more than 16 acres of creepy fun, and it will be offered rain or shine.
The families that visit the site will be able to view the lighted displays, and costumed characters and special effects will add to the spooky atmosphere. It was noted that it will meet the current standards for social distancing set by the CDC, and tickets will be sold in advance. Parents can choose passes that include both scary and non-scary fun or just the non-scary, with the price depending upon which one is selected. An arts and crafts area will be included in the experience for the younger guests.
One of the tasks the organizers of themed events often undertake is selecting Banners and other decor. A banner printing company will be happy to help, and will have choices available to its customers.
This year's CSTL Spookyfest will begin on October 8 and will be held on each weekend up until October 31. More information about both the event and the procedures to follow can be found on its website.
