Long Island kids get Excited for Spring Fest

The town of Merrick, New York is going to be holding a Spring Kids’ Fest fair to celebrate the beginning of spring, and residents other nearby Long Island towns, like Rockville Centre or Bellmore, are welcome as well. The Merrick Chamber of Commerce is hosting the event in conjunction with Nassau County Craft and Gift Shows.

Guests will have the opportunity to shop from some experienced vendors who sell unique handmade items. There will also be food vendors there so that families can hang out for the whole day. For the kids, the main attraction will no doubt be the rides that they can go on. Guests should look for vendors who have discount coupons for the rides.

Promoters for this event might look to printing companies to supply them with advertising materials like Flyers and Posters. Handing these out or displaying them in high-traffic areas like malls or storefronts is a good way to spread word about the event.

The Spring Kids’ Fest will start on Friday, April 25, and run in the evening from 6:00 pm until 11:00 pm. That night, there will not be any vendors and only the rides will be open. The following Saturday and Sunday, the fair will be open from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm and 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, respectively. The vendors will be on hand during those days to sell their wares.
