For a variety of reasons, homelessness is an issue that directly impacts a number of veterans, and a Rockville Centre fundraiser will help to make sure no one gets left behind.
A selection of designer handbags will be up for grabs in the 7th annual Designer Handbag Bingo fundraiser. Even if they do not go home with a purse, the attendees will still be treated to an evening of laughter and fun with their friends, and their proceeds will be donated to New Ground, which is a Long Island-based not-for-profit group.
The function will involve 10 rounds of bingo, and the handbags will feature brands such as Coach, Michael Kors, and Kate Spade. One winner will go home with the grand prize, which will be a vintage Fendi. The popular balloon pop will be back, and the prizes to be won during this portion of the festivities include luxury perfumes and accessories.
Along with the bingo and balloon pops, the guests will be able to enjoy drinks and a buffet dinner. Fundraisers that utilize bingo cards and other items that feature a custom graphic design will be able to order these from a printing services company in their area.
It will be taking place at St. Agnes Parish Center on March 25. The support of the community will be greatly appreciated.
