When it comes to great food, the Rockville Centre has a lot to offer. A group of over 40 chefs, restaurants and food service providers will be strutting their stuff in the Chefs of Long Island Food and Wine Tasting celebration, and it’s all in support of
Life’s WORC.
Guests at the function will be invited to taste their way around Long Island, as there will be food tasting stations offering samples, including signature dishes. Breweries and vineyards will also be offering tastings of their products, and this will all be taking place in The Carltun in Eisenhower Park.
While the food and drink will be the main draw for some, they are just part of what the occasion will have on offer. Live music will provide a festive backdrop for the occasion, and a silent auction and raffle draws will add to the overall excitement of the evening. The proceeds will be used to help Life’s WORC continue to offer programming and other supports for members of the community who are autistic or have developmental challenges.
The evening is scheduled to being at 6:30 pm, and continue on until 9:30 pm. An area printing services provider can work with the group planning an event like this to supply decor, Invitations, Menus, signage and other items that can help to create a memorable experience for its guests.
