This summer will see more than 40 First Nations come together for three days of activities, and everyone is invited to enjoy this special Rockville Centre area occasion.
This event, which is expected to draw guests from across New York, as well as its neighboring states and even Canada, will celebrate Native American culture. The schedule is filled with fun, and for many, the highlight of the weekend will be the dancing competitions, which will include hoop dances and other performances.
Along with the dancing, guests at the function can expect to enjoy a day filled with food, culture and fun. They will be welcome to browse through the authentic works of art and crafts that will be on display, and can purchase items to take home with them as a souvenir of the experience. When dusk arrives, the attendees will be invited to gather around the bonfire and enjoy the atmosphere of the occasion.
