The Center for Science, Teaching and Learning (CSTL) believes it is never too soon to develop an interest in learning, and it will be welcoming Rockville Centre families for a day of exploration in a couple of weeks.
Kids between the ages of 4 and 12 will find lots to see and do during the Family Makerspace day that will be hosted at the facility. Each child will need to be accompanied by an adult, and since there will be activities geared to various age groups, it will not be a problem if the siblings in a class are a wide range of ages.
Parents who would like to have their children take part in the program will need to register them ahead of time, and admission for all ages will be $15. Parents or guardians are asked to indicate the age of each individual in their party when they sign up. As there are only a limited number of spaces, anyone interested may wish to submit their registration form as soon as possible.
An activity like this often benefits from the services of local Print shops. They can prepare Copies of handouts, craft Posters, and other décor, and even supply an assortment of Promotional Products to give out as swag to each child.
The CSTL will be welcoming Long Island families for its Makerspace on December 6. It will run from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm, and registration is now open.
