Fall Festival bug hits RVC

Showtiques Crafts, Inc. is going to be bringing a Fall Festival event to Rockville Centre, New York later this month.

Shoppers will have the opportunity to purchase wares from a variety of vendors selling antique and craft items. Those who start to feel peckish while they shop can also seek out some of the food vendors who will be on hand. This is an opportunity for people to find some unique craft pieces for themselves or their friends.

Showtiques was founded in 1969 primarily to promote collectibles and antiques shows in the Long Island area. In the 1980s, it expanded to cover craft and artisan shows as well, and it began to host some of the events. The current owners work to organize roughly 40 events every year all over Long Island. The company's mission is to provide events that allow local businesses and artisans another venue at which they can sell their wares or promote their services.

Promoters might turn to printing companies to create marketing materials like Posters or Flyers that will draw in more potential buyers for these vendors. Making sure this event is advertised in Rockville Centre and other nearby towns will likely increase the attendance.

The festival will take place at the Municipal Lot on Sunrise Highway and Long Beach Road. It will run on Saturday, October 25 and Sunday, October 26 from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm. There is no cost to attend.
