Chocolate lovers set to unite at Rockville Centre area expo

For the seventh year in a row, the Cradle of Aviation will be the location for a celebration of a popular food, and this will be paired with plenty of other fare and fun.

The whole family is welcome to make plans to attend this year’s session of The Chocolate Expo, which has come to be an event the local area looks forward to each winter.

Those who attend the festivities will find lots of samples to enjoy, and while chocolate will be the star of the show, there will also be cheeses, baked goods, craft sodas, wine, spirits, beer, coolers, and plenty other fare as well. Costumed characters will be on hand to meet the kids, and a dance party, “Chocolate Challenge” and other entertainment has also been planned. Admission to the museum and its domed theater is also included in the ticket price for the day.

In an effort to provide those who are interested with the ultimate experience for chocolate lovers, the organizers have put together a VIP package. This includes lots of extra perks, including a Chocolate Expo reusable shopping bag printed with a unique graphic design, and a portion of the VIP ticket sales revenue will be donated to an area food pantry.

This celebration of life’s sweeter side has been planned for March 1. Tickets are on sale now.
