Henry Schein, Inc., located in Melville, recently announced that Sirona Direct, the dental distribution business of Sirona Dental Systems, Inc. in France, has become its latest acquisition.
The move will enable the company to expand its distribution of dental equipment in Normandy and Paris, and sell the full line of Sirona’s dental equipment to those who practice healthcare throughout most of France. The use of printing services often play an important role in latter the public know of operations like this.
Henry Schein provides healthcare products and services to medical practitioners, dental offices, and animal health centers. The company also serves government and institutional healthcare clinics, dental laboratories, and other alternate care sites.
According to Vincent Junod, who holds vice president and managing director roles at Henry Schein, the company is pleased to be able to represent Sirona’s products in most of France, as it is has become a significant and growing market for dental products. In a press release, he added that Sirona has high quality innovative products that will help the company to provide comprehensive solutions to the practitioners in the dental marketplace.
The headquarters for Sirona Direct are in Paris with a showroom in Rouen. Henry Schein France, of which the company will be part, has served practitioners of dentistry in the country for the past 20 years.
