A distribution agreement with Eversmile has been entered into by Henry Schein Orthodontics (HSO), based in Melville.
HSO is the orthodontics arm of Henry Schein, Inc. The exclusive agreement is for the distribution of smartIPR, which is an advanced Interproximal Reduction (IPR) system. This product makes IPR procedures simpler and more up-to-date by letting clinicians carefully open tight spaces between teeth little by little with accuracy, while lowering the chance of damaging teeth or gums. This system pairs a vibrating handpiece with lubricated smart DISKS that do not spin. The disks gently slide between the teeth to smooth the enamel and create exact space.
