Peapack Private Bank & Trust will be opening a new location in Melville. The bank will temporarily be on Broadhollow Road as it applies for more long-term space in Melville and in Garden City.

President and Chief Executive Officer, Doug Kennedy, said that the bank has plans to expand in the tri-state area and is starting with Long Island. He added that this is the natural next step for the bank as it grows its commercial banking business and looks to attract people who want direct access to their team of private bankers.
President of the Peapack office in New York, Andrew Corrado, said this is a logical move as the bank is endeavoring to fill a gap in the marketplace. He added that the bank has become established in New York City as an organization that is able to compete and be successful against larger institutions. He said that the time is now to introduce the bank’s services to Long Island.
