Katz Tax Seminars will be holding a presentation about state tax updates in December at the Melville Marriott.
NYS Tax Update is a seminar where certified public accountants can learn about the changes that will impact tax returns. The course will mainly focus on how to prepare the 2022 NYS Individual and Entity returns, though it will also cover topics such as the latest NYS budget bill and the Pass-Through Entity Tax and Credit. The level of the lesson is intermediate, and attendees who complete the class will receive four continuing professional education credits.
Katz Tax Seminars is an organization that was founded in 1993 by Robert Katz, a professor at Hofstra University. The group was made to create a community for accountants while also giving them a way to complete their continuing education requirements. The organization offers live classes for subjects such as estate planning, gift taxation, and tax procedures. The current principal lecturer for the group is Neil D. Katz, who was also a professor at Hofstra University.
The tax update seminar will be on Tuesday, December 20th from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. The cost of the course is $350 per person. Those interested in the tax lesson must register in advance. Store owners who organize events like this may use business card printing to promote themselves and their programs to customers.
