The Regus Office Facility in Melville will be hosting an interactive workshop this July that walks students through the internal audit process.
The Auditor Basic Training Workshop is an event that helps students gain a better understanding of the relationships between business objectives, risks, assessments, and reporting. The course will go over the audit life cycle, discussing how audits are planned, conducted, and reported by organizations. Students will also be taught about the proper methods of following up on their findings.
The auditing workshop takes place at over 40 locations every year and has an average class size of about four people per seminar. The organizers have taken this approach to better support individual development in students at the event.
Those who take the workshop will learn about auditing through presentations from experts, group discussions, simulations, and audit exercises. There will be many topics covered at the event, including the best practices in conducting fieldwork, how to evaluate internal controls, and the importance of preparing high-quality work papers. Corporations that host workshops like this can use brochure printing to make take-home resources for their students.
The Auditor Basic Training Workshop is a three-day event that will take place from July 8th to July 10th. The class will begin at 9:00 am and will end at 3:00 pm. People who want to join the class can pay a fee of $1,775.
