Melville to host womens collaborative meeting

The Long Island Association (LIA) in Melville will be holding a meeting this March to educate attendees about resilience.

The LIA Women’s Collaborative Meeting is an event that welcomes women to join fellow business professionals as they discuss various important topics. This month, the main subject will be about resilient leadership.

There will be many speakers at the event, such as Vanessa Braxton and Kara Cannon, who will discuss their personal experiences with adversity and how to recover quickly while still maintaining a positive attitude.

The collaborative meeting will have a portion dedicated to answering any questions asked by the audience. Before the presentation, guests will be treated to breakfast. There will also be a networking opportunity at the event to allow visitors to expand their contacts and exchange information. Those who go to networking meetings similar to this can use business card printing to create professional cards that stand to impress other attendees.

The LIA Women’s Collaborative Meeting will be held on Thursday, March 5 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. The event will be free for people to attend, though seating is limited. Those who plan on joining the collaborative meeting must register in advance. The LIA will also be holding another networking breakfast later in the month on March 20 for anyone interested in meeting New York Congressman Peter King.
